Kelly's 21st - back in 2003 before we got engaged.

Yesterday I mentioned  a holiday that I had already pre-booked and therefore went on when we first got together. That holiday was a family holiday (the last time I went away with my step-Nan Betty - RIP Bet, forever in our thoughts) to Tenby...As I said I spent most of that holiday on the 'phone (aswell as pushing Nan Bet around Tenby and Saundersfoot in her wheelchair) to Kelly, so when it was Kelly's 21st later that year I asked her where she would like to go for a little holiday to celebrate it together, before her big party.

Kelly chose Tenby, as it was where she felt that so many late night conversations started to shape our destiny. This picture was taken in Carringtons Restaurant in Tenby on the 6th September 2003, the actual night of Kell's 21st. We had a lovely meal and even better champagne, and continued it afterwards dancing the night away around the corner at some cheesy disco!

We had a lovely holiday - the weather was very kind to us and I played the best round of golf I've ever done in my life (at Trefloyne GC) - probably because my caddie was the best in the world, weren't you Kelly? Now a trip to the Llangloffen Cheese Farm and St. David's Cathedral might not be everyone's most romantic idea of a day out but we had a great time - honestly!

So that was Kelly's 21st - next update I plan to talk a bit more about our Engagement Party - with pictures of course!
