Gone, but not forgotten

Johnny: Johnny Dixon, RIP. Last Villa captain to lift the FA Cup.

Vic: Vic Crowe, RIP. Former player, captain, and succesful manager. The manager of the first Villa side I knew, who handed the club on in an infinitely better state than he inherited it.

Thank you to them both. I'll always remember Johnny talking about thinking about having the FA cup off the Queen, ten minutes before the final whistle, with a glint in his eye.
