So, we returned from our lovely honeymoon. Back to the reality. Luckily for us, there was one more wonderful day we had in our diary before we went back to work - a date at Villa Park, for some more photographs, which was very, very kindly arranged for us by 'The General' (General Charles C. Krulak: Vietnam vet, holder of a Purple Heart, Randy Lerner's right hand man and champion of Villa fans, all round great guy) - THANK YOU GENERAL. Paul Thomas, of Paul Thomas Photography, met us at our local church, Stonnall Church and along with little Buster (our little old pooch) we had some more shots taken of us in our wedding outfits - with one or two minor changes to my attire. Angela joined us too, and even though she complained that she didn't look glam enough for her picture to be taken (she looked lovely) we sneaked a few in of her too! As always, Paul took some great pictures, and managed to get in the bushes as usual! Kelly, my wife, looked absolutely amazing again, she really did. See for yourselves here:

Beautiful shots...
Also, as I said, we had our little old dog, Buster with us. Buster is a Stafforshire Bull-Terrier Cross (who knows what with though) and has been with me for 12 years now. I got her from Birmingham Dogs Home, in Digbeth, and tried every girls name I could think of to see if she responded, and then every doggie name I could think of - the only one she pricked her ears up to was 'Buster' - hence a girl dog with a boy dog's nam! We think she's about 15 now, maybe a year younger or older, and she suffers with her health these days, the poor thing - although she doesn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort. Sadly, her eyes went a year or two back, now her hearing is pretty poor, and she has heart problems and a kidney tumour, that the vets say can't be operated on because of her age. We just try to keep Bust as comfortable as possible, and she wags her tail as much as ever! She comes with me to work every day, and just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps! She says her favourite holiday destination is Angela's - as there she can be more mischievious than ever! Thank you for caring for her, Angela x. Here she is doing her favourite thing apart from eating:

From the Church we carried on to Villa Park, for a pre-arranged photo session there. The Villa were incredibly accommodating to us, allowing us free reign for our pictures - we had some taken on the pitch, in our seats, around the perimeter, in the Directors Box, and I even allowed myself a little sit in Doug Ellis' seat! A special thank you must go to Maz (was that right, babe / Angela?), The General, and Richard (again, is that right?) the Groundsman, and another thank you to Maz for letting us walk along the players tunnel, and out onto the pitch as the fanfare played - a moment that sent a shiver down my spine, it was a lifetimes dream almost fullfilled! We had a brilliant time, and Paul took some great pictures. Kell, babe, you looked as sensational as ever, the prettiest girl Villa Park has ever seen, I love you xxxx

So, that's another update, and takes us up to the middle of June, and almost the last of our wedding celebrations! Thanks all, for sticking with us, we've had some big hits again just lately. See you soon! Permalink:#
