Thank you darling, I love you and your smelly fart!)
Here's my darling babe's Q & A....X X X
What is your favourite place that you have visited?
Provence, I could move there tomorrow. I love the scenery, the peace, the food and the wine.
Name something that you like about yourself
Kelly says my smile, and my eyes (Kell: It's so cute! Hmmm and I love something else too but that's a secret!!!!)
Who would play you in a film?
John Belushi, except he’s dead, so maybe Russell Crowe, I thought his acting in ‘A Brilliant Mind’ was superb.
What is your dream car and why?
Bentley Continental GT, seeing as we make the grilles or a Winnebago motor home to tour in when we’re retired.
When did you first go to a villa game?
Around 1975, when I was a wee lad. I remember standing on the Witton Bank with my Mom, Dad and Mark, drinking from a flask, and scoffing sweets. This was knocked down around 76, so it would have to be 75 ish.
What are you looking forward to the most at our wedding?
Seeing my gorgeous bride walking down the aisle, and walking back down the aisle together. After that – the honeymoon! (Kell: Aah, thank you so much baby x)
Do you collect anything, and if so what?
Books, one day I’d like my own library, plus I have boxes and boxes of Villa programmes and memorabilia, a lot of which has been handed down to me. I’ve got hundreds of records aswell, but nowhere near as many as Mark!
What are your top three all-time favourite musical artists?
Simple Minds (of course), not really an artist but Verdi’s La Rigoletto remains an all-time must see for me, The Manic Street Preachers, and David Bowie (I blame my Brother for this!) Oops, that’s four!
What is your favourite food?
The Malabar Lobster Curry from the Mango Tree, or any seafood.
What is your all-time favourite song?
Book of Brilliant Things (Live in the City of Light version) is a very special song for me, plus One Tree Hill by U2, and finally (well, if we can’t be greedy with our answers then who can?) Chiquitita by Abba, which reminds me so much of my mom and my childhood.
What is your all-time favourite villa player?
Tony Morley – this guy was my hero, and to meet him the other week was fantastic.
What is your fondest ever villa memory?
Middlesborough at home in 1981, when we effectively won the League. I’ve still not seen a game as one-sided as this, we hammered them. Special mentions must go to the Tranmere semi final, when I saw grown men cry at the Villa for the first time, and also Bradford at home in 1988 when we needed to win to keep our promotion on track, it was a brilliant atmosphere – the ground was rocking by the end. Oh, and Inter Milan in the UEFA Cup!
If you could meet a famous person who could it be?
Nelson Mandela. I’d like to tell him the joke about Nissan Main Dealer! Did I tell you the joke about the man with funny legs that went on ‘Stars in Your Eyes’? That’s my favourite joke of all time! Ask me at the wedding!
Sorry for going on, but I always did have too much to say for myself! (Kell; No you don't my babe, your perfect to me, and I love you just the way you are xxxxxx)
