For our wedding we have chosen Home James Wedding Cars for our special day - we shall be arriving in style! Please feel free to have a look and view the cars which we shall be arriving in. Their website is:
www.homejamesweddingcars.co.uk
I shall be arriving at the church in a 1928 Chevy along with my Dad and a bottle of bubbly! The car shall be decorated in claret and blue ribbons and bows and we will have a claret and blue flower arrangement on the back shelf.
The bridesmaids and my Mom shall be arriving in a gold stretched S Class Mercedes Limousine. This will also be decorated in claret and blue ribbons and bows but there shall be no drinks on board this car as we don’t want any accidents with any of them spilling pop down their dresses before we’ve even got to the church! (It’d be just my luck for this to happen!)
Now, you may want to help me here try and change his mind but Ian has said that he is going to walk to the church from our house on his wedding day…! (Ian: I'm walking it, with Buster!)
After the ceremony when Ian and I are husband and wife we shall be chauffer driven in the 1928 Chevy decorated in claret and blue from the church (whilst enjoying a glass of champagne and having a smooch in the back!) to the Wedding Breakfast venue where we shall meet and greet our guests.
For the evening we shall be leaving the Mango Tree Restaurant at around 7.10pm and we need to make our way down to the venue for our Evening Wedding Reception which is being held at Stonnall Village Hall. For this I thought that it would be nice for us to arrive in style rather than to walk (not that I’d get very far in my dress, unless Ian’s going to volunteer to carry me?!) (Ian: Nope, sorry gorgeous!) so I decided to book us a lovely Lincoln Towncar Supastretch Limousine – looking at it on Home James’s website it looks super cool. (Ian: Yes, it's chavtastic baby!)
Our chauffer shall collect us around 7.10pm in the limo which again will be decorated in claret and blue ribbons and bows along with more bubbly! Then the happy couple “just the two of us” Mr and Mrs Bourne shall be taken to our wedding reception where we shall meet up again with our daytime guests and we shall also be joined by a about a further 100 of our evening guests who have been invited to join us in celebrating our wedding day.
(Ian: this is the car Kelly really wanted):
